Robert Chaplin, MD is a pediatric intensivist at Nebraska Medicine and Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Prior to medical school he was a paramedic in Wichita, Kansas in a busy 911 system and has experience in search and rescue. His passion is pre-hospital and out-of-hospital medicine including critical care specialty transport. He is currently the medical director of the Omaha Fire Department, the Douglas County Emergency Communication Center, and the Neonatal/Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team at Children’s Hospital in Omaha.
